Collecting Inks / Capoeira Angola Project
Here's a photo from the inks used in my work. Currently collecting some more from these empty cartridges in order to mix for some new colors.
Looking forward to our show on August 21st and wanted to let everyone know about another project I'll be a part of in September.
Thanks to a grant from the Houston Arts Alliance, the Capoeira Angola group Kalunga N'golo will be able to bring Mestre João Grande (one of the most important capoeira angola mestres, student of mestre Pastinha) to Houston for a workshop and I'm honored to be a participant by painting a series about the event, not to mention the rare opportunity to once again learn more about Capoeira Angola from Mestre João Grande himself.
