After Munch

"After Munch" - Marker/ pen on paper.
This is a sketch inspired by one of my all-time favourite artists : Edvard Munch.
Edvard Munch (Norwegian pronunciation: [?mu?k], 12 December 1863 – 23 January 1944) was a Norwegian Symbolist painter, printmaker and an important forerunner of expressionistic art. His best-known composition, The Scream, is part of a series The Frieze of Life, in which Munch explored the themes of life, love, fear, death, melancholia, and anxiety.
Here are a couple of his prints.

Time-lapse video by Nico Whittaker.
I decided to do this drawing and record it.
It took me about 20 minutes.
The creative process:
I don't plan ahead, I just start drawing whatever comes to mind.
I usually throw some lines and build upon these.
My favorite tool is a black ink pen.
Sometimes I use pencil but I never erase.
If I don't like something I just correct on top of it.
The images are faces or people generally.
I don't care about proportions or aesthetics as you can see.
They look at me after I do these and I can tell what are they thinking: ...this guy is creepy or what a freak...but that makes it even more satisfying.
Well, I hope you like it and don't forget to check out the video down below.
